Bio

Matt Womble is the Co-Founder and CEO of EverWatch. Previously, Matt held numerous senior management positions at United Rentals, Inc. (NYSE: URI), the largest equipment rental company in the world. He has served in various capacities within the U.S. Department of Justice (USDOJ) and was an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Rhode Island. Matt began his professional career as an attorney with the law firm now known as Locke Lord, where he practiced in the areas of mergers, acquisitions, and general corporate law. Matt received his M.B.A. from the University of Connecticut, his J.D. from Wake Forest University, and his B.B.A. from Texas Christian University.

Ted Simpson

Bio

Ted Simpson is the Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel for EverWatch. Previously, Ted was the Head of Fiduciary Solutions for Focus Financial Partners, a large wealth management company, and a Senior Wealth Planning Strategist with Wells Fargo Private Bank. Ted began his career working with the Creative Tax Services group of Deloitte, then practiced law for 15 years, focusing on trusts and estates, tax, and business law. Ted received his B.A. in Government from Eastern Washington University, his J.D. from Gonzaga Law School, and his LL.M. in taxation from the University of Washington School of Law. Ted also earned a Certificate in Leading with Finance from Harvard Business School Online.

Kelly Tabor

Kelly joined EverWatch in 2022 and supports the operational and administrative functions across the company. Previously, Kelly worked for various asset management companies, providing administrative support to C-level executives. Kelly received her B.B.A. in Marketing from St. Bonaventure University.

Ted Kokas

Chief Investment Officer
Bio

Ted joined Everwatch as Chief Investment Officer in 2016. Prior to Everwatch, Ted was the Chief Investment Officer of ROCH Capital, a single-family office in the greater Philadelphia area. From 2008 to 2013, Ted was Global Head of Alternative Investments for SEI Investment Company in Oaks, Pennsylvania. Ted also held senior-level portfolio management positions in global macroeconomic trading and quantitative strategies for a number of leading hedge funds and institutional asset management firms including Millennium Partners in New York, Rubicon Fund Management in London, and the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority in the United Arab Emirates. Ted pursued a PhD in Finance with the EDHEC-Risk Institute and holds a Master of Science in Finance from Boston College and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Management from the University of Massachusetts in Lowell. Ted holds a Chartered Financial Analyst designation (CFA) and a Financial Risk Manager (FRM) charter. He is a member of the Andover Development Board and sits on the Future of the Endowment Committee for his alma mater, Phillips Andover Academy.

Rodney Lumpkin

Bio

Rodney joined EverWatch as Director of Private Markets in 2022. Prior to joining EverWatch, Rodney was a Managing Director on the Alternative Investments team for SEI’s Investment Management Unit where he was responsible for all aspects of the firm’s private equity, real estate, and real assets initiatives. During his time at SEI, Rodney built the firm’s private assets platform and managed the team that ultimately oversaw $5.0 billion in assets across a wide variety of illiquid strategies and managers. Before joining SEI, Rodney was a manager in the advisory unit of PriceWaterhouseCoopers, where he specialized in financial analysis, modeling the impacts of strategic business decisions, and operational planning. Previously, Rodney spent several years building the private equity program at Hirtle, Callaghan, and Co. Rodney earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in finance from the University of Georgia , his Master of Business Administration from the Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University and is a CFA charter holder.

Tom Phillips

Tom joined EverWatch as an Investment Associate in 2022. Prior to joining EverWatch, he was a Senior Investment Analyst on SEI’s Private Assets team, which spanned all sub-classes of private assets, including private equity, real estate, and real assets. Before joining SEI’s Private Assets team in 2014, Tom was an Investment Data Analyst on the Alternative Investments team. Previously, he spent several years as a fund accountant at SEI. Tom earned his Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in finance from Shippensburg University.

Frank joined EverWatch in 2008, coming from State Street Corporation. Prior to State Street, he held several accounting-related positions and has over twenty years of experience. Frank is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations across the company. He received his B.S. in Accounting from Villanova University.

For the previous 30 years, Lisa worked for Freeman, the #1 brand experience company, providing administrative support to C-level executives. Frohman Anderson

Bio

Frohman is the Co-Founder of EverWatch, retiring from his position as Co-CEO in 2023. Previously, Frohman was a General Partner of Champlain Capital Partners, L.P., a $140 million buyout fund. Prior to Champlain Capital Partners, Frohman was Vice President of Strategic Planning and Technology at Princess House, Inc., a direct-sales consumer products company, where he developed and implemented growth strategies and industry-leading IT solutions for a 12,000-person sales force. Preceding Princess House, Frohman was President of FCA Enterprises where he consulted several businesses, including raising and investing capital and sourcing strategic acquisitions. In 1996, Frohman founded Inergy Online, a pioneering Internet services business, which he sold in 1998. Early in his career, Frohman held various positions in both the direct selling and the industrial materials industries. Frohman received a B.A. in Engineering Sciences from Dartmouth College. He currently serves on the boards of several private businesses and is a director of The Collis Foundation.

Joe joined EverWatch as Chief Financial Officer in 2007, bringing 17 years of experience in the venture capital industry. Prior to joining EverWatch, Joe was the CFO of Charles River Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm specializing in Communications & Technology, Enterprise Software & Services, and Media & Entertainment, where he was responsible for the firm’s financial, operational, and administrative functions. Prior to Charles River Ventures, Joe was the CFO of M/C Venture Partners, a Boston-based venture capital firm specializing in early-stage telecommunications and telecom-related IT investments. While at M/C Venture Partners, he served on the board of directors of Chestnut Venture Partners L.P., a licensee of the Small Business Administration’s SBIC program. Joe is a member of the Private Equity CFO Association. He received his M.B.A from Northeastern University and his B.S. in Finance and Investments from Babson College.

Astrid Womble

Astrid currently serves as a member on the Board of Directors for EverWatch. She joined EverWatch in 2012 serving as a Director and the General Counsel until she retired in 2023. In her time at EverWatch, Astrid oversaw operations, including legal, philanthropy and administration. In 2005, Astrid became Executive Director of The Collis Foundation, a family foundation that focuses on education and basic human service needs, a role she still serves today. Astrid received her J.D. and M.B.A. from Wake Forest University and her B.A. in English from Dartmouth College.
